Alfred's Adult
The Alfred's Adult program is used
with adults and occasionally with beginners over the age of 12.
Alfred's Adult uses a left hand chord based approach with right hand melody to teach the older
learner. Upon completion of the first book students are able to
play comfortably in 3-5 basic keys. Alfred's Adult also has several
supplemental books with many different styles of music that allow you
to try new music while continuing to work in keys that are familiar.
We understand that finding the time to practice can be
challenging for the adult learner. We are patient with this and
understand that its a heart's desire to learn to play the piano.
We encourage and work with the student every step of the journey.
