Bastien Level 1
Bastien level 1 continues to teach students the valuable skills that
they began in Prelude for Kids or Piano Fun Theory Fun. Starting
first in the C hand position and moving through the G and F hand
positions students learn to explore the keyboard further. They
will also learn the meanings of countless musical terms and symbols as
well as concepts such as musical form. The studio's "Practice for Success" program teaches
students proper practices habits. Flashcards are also used with
the Bastien programs.
Bastien Level 2
Bastien Level 2 takes the concepts learned in Bastien 1 to even greater
heights slowly expanding the already well known hand positions, forms and terms. It
also teaches new keys of D and A major. Flashcards are also used with the Bastien programs.
