Christopher Norton Connections
The Christopher Norton Connections
Program is a brand new program that is getting great reviews from
students and teachers. There are 8 graded levels that roughly
coincide with the Royal Conservatory of Music grade levels. The
pieces are all written by Christopher Norton and are based on popular
styles of music, Latin, Swing, Character and Lyrical. The
Connections program can be used on it's own or can go hand in hand with
the RCM graded music to add a little fun on the side. Students
enjoy the up beat and fun approach that the songs employ. The
program also introduces the use of technology as there are back up band
tracks available online to students. They can download them
and they play along with the tracks and be part of the band!
