Testimonials
The teachers are always nice and let you work at your own pace. I also like working one on one with a teacher
- Innes MacDonald - Current student
The teachers always treat my kids as individuals, and are challenging
without being demanding. Also Andrea and all the teachers are
very accessible, accomodating, always friendly, courteous and
encouraging. The teachers are very good at listending to the
kids, and "keeping it fun". The kids had lots of chances to
really perfect a piece and perform it in front of a group, yet the
recitals were never "scary" and my kids rarely got nervous about
performing. So I appreciated the recitals, and the staff's
ability to keep them relaxed, fun and a good length of time.
- Vivien Gorham - Parent
The teachers are fantastic - very patient, knowledgable and they make
learning fun! The also let you play at your own level.
- Julie Caswell - Parent
The teachers are very positive, and working one on one means you can make lots of progress
-Amie MacDonald - Former student
We have loved having both our children take piano at Andrea's Music
Studio. They both started in preschool group sessions and now
each take private lessons. They each have different teachers and
we are thrilled with both of them. The love going to piano, take
their practising seriously and love the socials. We also love the
recitals that showcase their hard work.
- Cindy Were - Parent
I was taught the very basics of guitar by John Geddes 20 years ago - well, a
few months over that, but in 1988 for sure. John not only taught me the
basics, though. He taught me the value of PRACTICE PRACTICE and then
PRACTICE MORE.
Now, we only had a few lessons, but he steered me
in the right direction and, without that guidance, I would never come
as far as I have - which, in the wide world of guitar and music, is
only a few inches in a mile, if you take my meaning.
John didn't just teach me some of what he knew, he applied his knowledge
to the style of music I wanted to play so my interest would not faulter
Yes, John,
I still go through the exercises you taught me way back when. I still
even have one of the scale sheets you printed up for me and the chord
book you urged me to go out and get as well with the chords still
marked within!
Anyway, without going through a lot of memories,
let's just say that Andrea's Music Studio is lucky to snag one of the
best guitarists I have ever known and his students should count
themselves lucky to have him as a mentor and teacher.
